If i have 2 rams in the ezdebug lights up on dram and it won t boot.
2 sticks of ram won t boot.
I tried to clear cmos removed the battery and the 20 24 pin connector but nothing worked.
Pc won t boot with 2 ram sticks only 1.
If i try putting both sticks in the order that the manual says it does not boot i can t access to bios.
Yeah what toast says is true if the bios isn t bugged and the components are operating well within specification.
The fans cpu red led and the vga were on but the rgb stripe won t lit.
What did actually work was to remove 1 stick of ram the sticks were on the red slots and i removed the one nearer to the cpu.
On ryzen 2700x the same memorie sticks are working perfectly in dual channel.
That mobo handles up to 64gb ddr4 2133 and has 4 slots.
I ve just finished building my new rig and something is off.
Failures with two sticks in one channel are particularly common.
I ve tried many things such as clearing cmos tried different slots checked power cables checked socket and cpu but i can t find anything.
Today when i tried to boot the pc it didn t post.
So everything should work.
Make sure the ram module slides completely into the slot and the retaining clips snap into the proper position to hold the ram in place.
Well it works only using one of the sticks doesn t matter which one.
On ryzen 3600 they work in slots 1 and 2 counting from the cpu but inserting ram into another slots like 2 and 4 for dual channel operation causes 3 long beeps that is a problem with ram.
If the pc fails to boot up as before you ll know the rais m modules you purchased simply aren t.
1 remove the ram that came pre installed in your pc and install only one of the new ram sticks.
I7 6700k mobo asus b150m c and 2 sticks of kingston 16gb ddr4 2133.
